One for All................All for Me!!

I very dear friend mentioned this couple of months back. I thought it was quiet interesting phrase and kept it in the iPaq.

The annual dinner went well. For the first time I won three items in one night. And for the third time in the row I've won things that are Pensonic!!!

The holiday have been a low profile, visiting friends and taking extra one hour of their normal lunch hours. Met Annette and we've decided to work on acquiring fund to help poor Indian students to buy school uniforms.

Toadality

My three weeks vacation started last week. I felt strange though. The guys are betting RM50 for every single day that I may turn up in the office...ha ha ha.

Anyway, my very dear friend Donny finally tied the know with Shwu Fen. I was so humbled when he asked me to be one of the "brothers" to pick her up in Melaka. It was a simple but lovely session, ended up me eating sushi sandwich!!!!. Dinner was great, manage to catch old friends from the Belum tip days.

Along's birthday was celebrated at the new La La Chong in Ara Damansara. Our favorite food were not as good as the one in Subang but try the steamboat....sedappp.

Took Jay, Aida, Rizal, Jumy, Adeline and Kaj for rafting in KKB to celebrate Jay's birthday. It was a truly wet affair for him, being drown and still traumatised till now. Sorry bro....

Rizal took us for Live n Loud @ KLCC. Thank you bro, thank you.

Amrul bought a new camera so stop looking and start clicking.....

My handing over task to Ahmad shall finish soon. He seems to be doing well and I know he is the best man for the job. I really hope and pray the team will soar higher.

Me? I pray for my friends to come together back as family we used to be. We will laugh, we will share, we will fight, but most importantly, we will care for each other.

My raya open house concluded @ 2 am. In turned out to be more of Chinese New year open house. Mum, Along, Faiz, Elis, Fahmi, Fadil, Daus, Bang Leman, Tihah, Bang Lan and Mak Lang have been very helpful and I'm grateful to all of them. Mak...as usual, saying one thing but cooking another thing, which keeps all of us suspense...

Rizal and myself have finally decided to materialised our ambition. We have found the opportunity and both of us agreed to let's get on with it. AND WE WILL.

Spent the afternoon @ Maz's place to sort out the concert stuff. I think the whole drama surrounding this concert makes her stronger.

The massage session was the most painful so far. AYOYO....so many poison in my body system.

Not enough

There goes another Ramadhan and by far the most fulfilling Ramadhan in my life. I have met someone who gave me the keinsafan about what love is all about. She is innocent and pure. She is quiet but like to smile. How I wish I can take her home and look after her. To Adik Munir, many thanks from me. To all my friends who looked after her during the berbuka event, only Allah knows how much I insaf and appreciate your kindness.

This year must also be the most membazir Ramadhan for Malaysians in my living memory. Paying more than RM100 for berbuka? What have we become? Price control? Only when there's media to shoot. We're in for become big time suckers....

Did anyone saw NST today? Datuk Z's pondok for your view. No comment!!!

The days left behind

Alhamdulillah, the berbuka with PERNIM kids made me so proud of all my friends. I can only pray and believe God will reward them all. Munir was there, she made me cry for the first time this year and she did it the second time. Maybe she doesn't know it yet, but she have a very very strong heart to live. I wish and hope to be as strong as her. I really do.

The trip to Nice went well. The presentation by Greece by far the most impressive one. Duniaku received strong applause from everyone and I am happy. Finally, 4 month of sacrifice paid off.

But, as soon I reached KL, it felt empty. I just don't know what happen.... and when Munir comes into mind, I just cried.

Ya Allah, give me the will and strength...

Pressure is Pleasure

The best part of the pressure is when you enjoyed it. It took me sometime to understand and live with it and finally I managed to do it today. Sounds funny eh? but yes.

Invited and attended the Khazanah Global Lecture. Seated among some cool head and nice chicks. Good company with laughter and we were the only table with group pics. Thank you Thomas.

Spent the Merdeka eve BBQing @ Maz's newly renovated home. She's blessed with happy family with additional member coming soon. InsyaAllah mopre happiness to come. Good turnout, good friends, good time and good food. Stayed there until 2am.

Woke up on the morning of Merdeka thinking I was late for TRYLA event. We're supposed to buy KFC for luncheon outing with the Sincere folks. And.....the rest were late as well. Nevertheless, everything went well. Good turnout of around 20++ volunteers. Great!!!

And what happen for the rest of the week?

Berembang Tree

Spent the weekend going for Erin's wedding at Senawang, then, driving all the way to Sg Buloh for stopover at Maz's place, followed by a visit to Kelip Kelip Sanctuary and end the day with dinner @ Jeram Seafood. Cool trip, enjoyed it soooo much.

Started the day in kelam kabut manner.....managed to sort things out later. Went to Syariah Court to declare ayah's stuff, hopefully it will be settled soon.

"Konsortium Express Penang manager Albert Chew said his company was having problems getting replacement drivers after 20 of its 140 drivers went missing after Ops Bersih started on Aug 22.

Sorry, sir: An attendant telling a customer that all bus tickets for the day have been sold out at Puduraya terminal.“We have stopped selling bus tickets for the Raya holidays due to the shortage of drivers. The drivers feel that they are being harassed and victimised by the ongoing action.
“They are expecting more checks to be done during the festive period, which is why they don't want to drive,” he said when met at the Sungai Nibong bus terminal yesterday."

So...that was the statement by one of the bus company. To all the passengers and enforcement agencies PLEASE STAND FIRM!!! They thought that the public will suffer....but it's time to make these greedy idiots to pay. If the drivers felt they are being harrased, please remind them the days when they:-

1. Smoking while driving
2. SMS while driving
3. Playing games omn their hp while driving
4. Talking over hp while driving

If these guys don't give a damn about the life of others, so why do we care about their life anyway...

I definitely think it was not a political issue!!!

So, an MCA guy got mudered and that was the answer given by the MCA Sec-Gen. He knows it even before the police completed the investigation. He "definitely think it was not because of politcal matter" :).

All these accidents involving express busses demonstrate how sick I am with the enforcement agencies. Maybe those accidents should involve their parents, spouse or children before they could act as they should be. Cakap banyak, giving all those stupid idiotic press statements as if they are working hard. Well...maybe they worked hard, but then it's not hard enough. Just how many more lives have to lose before law being enforce!!! Al-Fatihah to the victims.

Tranquerah Restaurant

Melaka is indeed a nice town (although the government wants to call it city). To get a pleasant service, act like you're a tourist from KL. Better still, say that you're from Singapore. You can try Nasi Goreng Bersin at a stall near Eaquatorial.

Jonker Street is something to explore. Lots of nostalgic stuff. But the most pleasant discovery was the Tranquerah Restaurant. Pleasant service even to Malaysian, nice ambiance, karaoke. Try it!!!

Bora

Celebrated Maz Misran birthday @ Bora. Nama macam Bali but menu macam kedai Tom Yam. Lawak betul.

Friendships....

Only in recents days that I realised how close our little circle of friends are. Rizal, Maz n Maz, Amrul, Lin, Anis plus their spouses. It's that unspkoen trust and belief that we have each other over the years and I am grateful for that

We celebrated Amril farewell dinner. Surprise...surprise........my gals can dance......I guessed it wasn't hard for Amril to decide on leaving. He seems to be looking forward to the new job. ALL THE BEST BUDDY.

Drop by at the Consumer Carnival. Boring stuff, so far away from public transport access. Missed the durian buffet as welll sigh!!!

Went for another Sihat Sunday @ Kiara Park with Casey, Rizal, Lin, Maz n Maz, kids. Nice walk and followed by breakfast nasi lemak lembik...

ROUGH RAFT

Crazy 7 days............... with so many action and function. I just wanna thanks Siti, Awin, Amril, Ayu, Suria, Rizal and sooooo many others for the helps beyond boundries.....

Latest on the Nuri crash, they found the wreckage but no survivors. Sad and worrying stuff considering that it took more than 1000 peoples and five days to find the wreckage. Imagine if we are in the real war.

Farewell dinner for Pooi Nie, one of my best and trusted friend. Really sad to see her leaving but happy for the new goodlife she will experience. ALL THE BEST MY FRIEND

Friday
Dinner with Anis, Rizal, Amrul, Aida, Ronnie, Jerome, Maz and Jay @ La La Chong. While on the way, received call that Mak Lang is in coma. She slipped at the kitchen and injured her head. Ajis picked Mak as she wants to be there.

My free phone was finally delivered after much of screwing. My hats off to Mega for going all the way getting it delivered to me at.............of all place.....Lala Chong, while having my dinner. Tried calling her many times but was told she's. Cool Motorola phone....................

Saturday
Went to GH in the morning to visit Mak Lang with Along, but stopped by the guard as visiting hours starts at 12 noon. Decided to go back.....and lepak at Starbucks Subang Jaya the entire afternoon. Amrul picked me up and we proceed to Curve for the official opening of Uluwatu. Congrats to Lin for the spirit of "keusahawanan".

Later we introduce Jay and Ronnie to LAMB session followed by dinner and KARAOKE @ Red Box. Dayang joned us...cool jugak budak ni. Went back at 2am

Sunday
Our beloved Mak Lang passed away after slipping into coma since Friday. Selamat kebumi Allahyarhamah before Asar despite the heavy rain. I just don't know what else to say

Worklife balance

So......it's da in-thing nowadays, balance your life and work. Government servant for once has shown us the way. Start work at 8.30am (I guessed) and have breakfast at a place more than 1 km away although there's a pantry or cafe in their office block. Better still...wear the jacket with your names and our country crest on it........that's a real balance.

A new show on ASTRO Ria called MRI....watch it guys. Learn how to make excuse live on TV and still getting away with it.

Tak ngantok lagi

Anis requested few rangkaps pantun in conjunction with Merdeka Sale. Managed to get few completed and glad that she liked it.

Still awaiting for my free phone from Maxis. The guy said my P75 plan haven't been converted to P138 and my phone delivery haven't been processed. Thought of screwing him but then...what's the use of it.

Also, still awaiting for my Maybank2U new password sorted out. Just couldn't figure out the stupidity of this bank. On one end they advised customers not to reveal the bank details via email yet this lady got the chic to ask for my card and acc details. It has been a week now.....

Slitch in the City

Ramai ramai celebrate birthday Ronnie dgn Amrul. Makan kat Pizza vs Satay kemudian adjourned to Red Box (I think) karaoke kat Curve. Lin surprised me sebab dia boleh nyanyi lagi Melayu. Aida punya suara.....fuyoooooo... It was a nice gathering. Anis bought me a shirt she thought for cyclist, but terharu gak dgn pemberian tu.

Kelmarin, got to know that Pooi Nie resigned. Sedih....really good friend....sedih...

Last nite lepak kat Curve,makan kat Italianies, ordered the usual antichoke. Again Lin surprised me....hantu kuaci gak dia. Sijar joined later, still the same ole Sijar. Fauzi dgn Amril pun joined lepas tu...good outing.....sharing the ghost stories and they they discovered meaning of SLITCH

The Great Outing

Bukit Gasing June 23
Aida, Bro J, Casey and Rizal turned up for the outing. Lambat almost 2 hours but it was a good outing for everyone especially the breakfast part. Each one of us lanyak 3 or more roti canai and tosai. More than that, I guess we made a good bonding.

Birthday party for Ronnie and Amrul
Quite late but we organized it anyway. Dinner @ Pizza vs Satay followed by Karaoke @ Curve. Great fun and laughter and I am blessed to have such a trusted multi character friends.

Lala Chong dengan family
Mak, Pak Lang Din, Mak Lang Sibah, Ucu Lamah, Tihah, Along, Bang Lan, Faizol and the kids ikut makan @ Lala Chong. Great fun, but Pak Lang senyap aje.

Melaka trip

Out of nothing, woke on Fri June 15 and decided for a Malacca day trip. Browse the net for Transnasional route to Melaka and there's a stop in Melaka town. Bought return ticket for RM18, arrived at Melaka Sentral only to be told that's the last stop. DAMN!!! What to do? terima ajela. Nak marah driver pun no use. Walked around the terminal to look for Melaka map only to find map for Trengganu and Penang.....end up buying RM8 map @ 7-11. Took a cab to town, koyak another RM15. Stop in front of Dataran Pahlawan and and day tour started...

Nice small city, nice scenery, lots of nice pics taken.....cantik gak Melaka ni...except the driver la. Tak tourist friendly langsung......Went to St Paul, Famosa and the Stadhuys....took beca ride .....

Conclusion?
Scenery cantik but the transport is expensive. Cab fare is killer.

After such a long time

Finally manages bawak geng pegi FRIM for our Sihat Sunday. Glad that semua enjoyed the trip and plan to do another one soon.

Me? need a break and will get one next week. Talking about break, bilik sendiri kena "break", hp kena sapu. Takpala tak da rezeki.
